adopted puppies-we update as we can- pictures are below captions.
11/5/2022 Kiko right now is 11 months old and weights 131lb
Hello Adam and family!
I just wanted to give you a quick update on the pup we got from you a couple of months ago. We named him Bowser and he’s 16 weeks old now. He’s a better family dog than we could have ever imagined! He seems to just instinctively know when to be gentle with our toddlers or when he can rough house a little bit with our older daughter. We all love him so much and he’s such a happy, calm, affectionate guy! He’s 41 pounds per his last vet visit and is healthy and so smart. Everyone he meets just can’t help but love him! Thank you so much. I’ll update you again in the future. Take care!
Merry Christmas! Bowser wished for a white Christmas and he certainly got his wish! He is 6 months now and 75lbs and healthy. He is such a sweetheart and we couldn’t be happier with him! Thank you so much.
All,
Just wanted to give a little update on the pup we got from you a few litters ago. You guys called him Lucky we named him Trooper, he had a single brown toe and was born Nov 29, 2021. The picture attached of him sitting on his couch on the porch doing his favorite thing, waiting to watch trucks. He is an amazing dog and can’t thank you enough for him ..
Hi Adam,
As you requested:)
Thought I would start sending you pictures now. (Meeko) He is completely spoiled.
House broken, can sit, when he is hungry or thristy he steps on a button that says food or water and we know to feed or water him. It’s great. If I can catch him doing it I’ll video it and send it to you. It’s great!
He sleeps with us and a big snuggle bug. We love him so much! 8/24/2022
Hi Adam and family, sending along an update on Maeve. Attached photos are from the day we brought her home, and today 5/29/22 at 6 months old (she is between 65 and 70lbs right now). Maeve has settled in super well with our family and she is such a joy in our lives. She absolutely loves playing with all of our children and is very careful and calm when she is around our youngest who is just a year old. We joined our local NCA chapter (the Northland Newfoundland Group) and Maeve has loved being around other Newfie’s at the events that we have been to. She loves being in the water, but has not yet ventured out far enough to swim. Thank you Adam and your family for letting Maeve be a member of ours.
10/15/22
Maeve went to a new groomer today who also has a brown Newfie and they got to play together. The groomer took this photo and I thought it was a really good one so I figured I would send it along. Below are a couple of her playing with the groomers newf “Mack”. It was really cool to see them together, it was like they both knew that they were Newfoundlands lol and they really just enjoyed being near each other. It’s the first time she has drooled in a big way.
Maeve is officially a year old (11/29) and around 105lbs. Here are some holiday themed photos of her.
Hi Brian,
Thanks again to you and Adam for meeting us to drop off the puppy today. We have named her Penelope and she is settling in nicely so far. Her big sister Maeve is obsessed with her and so are we. I’ll continue to send updates periodically. (Maeve now has a little sister 6/2/2023)
Hello,
Maeve is officially 2 today (right side in the picture). She is such a good girl and has stayed so attached to Penny (left side) since we got her. They play together, eat together, and sleep together.
As you can see, Penny has caught right up to Maeve size wise. Penny will turn one at the end of next month. She is definitely the bigger cuddles of the two and she loves to give kisses, especially when you aren’t looking!!
Best,

Hello!
Wanted to give you an update on how Winifred is settling in to the family. She is best friends with our basset hound. Is so smart and excited to work on her training. Loves all people and can’t wait to make new friends. She’s had all her shots and is 51.6 pounds per our vet last week. Included some photos.

Hi Adam! Our little Dorie is adjusting to life with us very well. We thought we would send a couple pictures now and will again in a couple months. She has been great at night since she arrived giving us 6-7 hours of sleep in her crate and is almost potty trained. She is a smart little girl! We love her so much❣️

update on Dorie- 10/25/21
Dorie is doing great! She earned her Canine Good Citizen award and is doing agility classes now. We would like to work on carting next😊. She loves camping, walking local trails and playing with her best buddy and neighbor dog Gracie.
Hi Adam and family! Dorie is 2 1/2 years old now. She has really taken to carting. We took her to a local fall festival and she was a big hit! She will help us with hauling some firewood this winter and we look forward to pulling Christmas trees out for families at a tree farm.

Hi Adam and Family,
I just wanted to send an update on our Teddy Bear. He’s wiggled his way into everyone’s heart. We have completed our private training lessons and are halfway through AKC STAR puppy class. He’s begun learning how
to work as my son’s Diabetic Alert Dog- so he accompanies us pretty well everywhere to make sure my son’s blood sugar is in a safe range (we are training him to boop us with his nose when he smells a dangerously low or high blood sugar). He’s a very special dog.
Yesterday he reminded me of his mom. I had a friend stop by and he waited for permission to greet Linda, did so politely then laid at my feet until we were done chatting. That’s how Olivia greeted us when we arrived to pick
our baby up ❤ .
He shakes quite a bit when he is lying down- like trembles. It’s kind of an odd thing and I didn’t know if you’ve had that happen in the breed? The vet wasn’t concerned about it at this point but it’s just odd. I don’t even have a better descriptor. He eats Nutrisource and we just switched him to Large breed adult food.
I’ve attached a couple of pictures. He and my son are two peas in a pod. They hate the sunshine and short walks are better than long. Lounging by the AC is a perfectly appropriate way to spend the day. When the two
are separated even for a brief moment the other is the best thing in the whole universe when they reunite. The other Newfie in the picture is my dads dog, Goofia. (not posted) Second picture is on my parents’ boat. We just finished playing in the ocean with the kids and Teddy had just alerted to his first low blood sugar! Teddy is fondly adored by both his grandparents and all 4 of his siblings (even though the oldest is his absolute favorite
person in the universe). I’m going to have to get myself my own dog in a few years once T.B. Is done training
Chester & Oliver 12-20-2022
Chester and Oliver 7/19/2020
Hi Adam,
Just wanted to update you on these two characters! Oliver is growing like a weed and Chester is teaching him everything he needs to
know about being a big boy newfie! They do everything together – true brothers, and true to the breed, they love to the water and love to
swim. It is impossible to keep them dry, but on these hot summer days it keeps them cool! Now 4 and 10 months old, these two are
absolutely beautiful and healthy. We are so glad to have them in our family!
Hope you and your family are well and enjoying summer
Gail and Bob
These 2 people have enjoyed Chester so much they adopted one of the new puppies from the current litter.
Just wanted to let you know that Chester is an absolute joy! We kept the name that you gave him. He fit in with our family immediately and he’s made a lot of new friends. He’s growing like a weed! Thank you for the opportunity to include him in our family!!!!!

Hi Adam, we figured that we’d send you an update on Obie. Went to vet last week, weighs 44 pounds. He is doing great, but seems to like stealing shoes. Regards, Tim & Mary (born 9/4/19)
Hi, just wanted to let you know how Baz is doing. He is a great dog. Whip smart and eager to please. He hasn’t had an accident in his crate at night yet, and less than 5 accidents since we got him. Some of them I attribute to his vaccine as that is a side effect, one of them because he was playing with my sons puppy and got all excited. He had his first vet and grooming appt. Everyone loves him. He has decided to live under my work desk, and attach himself to Onyx, my older newf. He is a really, really good puppy. I attached a few photos. Thank you so much for letting us have him., Krista. P.S. it was a pleasure meeting you and your very sweet family.
Hello Adam and family, I just wanted to give you an update on Judah (black male number 4). He is doing well. He went to the vet last week to get some shots. He weighs 30 pounds. He started puppy school 2 weeks ago. He knows all basic commands, and he is doing well with potty and crate training. He’s made a great addition to the family (his big brother is an eight year old Doberman). And he loves the water! Thank you so much!
This is the true meaning of “Lucky dog”.

2nd Litter
We don’t have any new pictures yet of #7 but she found her home and the owners brother decided he wanted one also so #10 went to be with him just 5 days later. So these two siblings will get to be friends and play together.
Hello from puppy #10, my new name is Bella and I’m a very good girl!
I’m a jersey girl now here’s a pic of me
Hello Adam, Tena, and Family!
We are writing to let you know about Kiwi, aka puppy #3. She is an absolute love— a sweet temperament, playful nature, good with everyone she meets (dogs and people alike). She loves going for walks and playing fetch. Kiwi is also fascinated by the bathtub and often hangs out in it. She’s currently working on sit, lay down, and some other basics.
Kiwi has her own Instagram We’ve attached a recent picture— she’s almost 4 months old.
We also appreciate your willingness to work with us and arrange transportation for our bundle of fluff. You made the process easy and stress-free. Thank you again!
Adam,
I wanted to let you know that Mabel is doing great. So far she hasn’t had a single toileting accident in the house. She is not as quiet as you might think though. My other Newfie and her wrestle and then crash for naps. I know that a lot of dog owners frown on this but she sleeps on the bed. She and my Gertie, my other girl lay with their heads in the open window. She is a real snuggler but can be very independent at times. I am so happy to have her with me. I have a bunch of pictures. I will send updates but here she is napping with Gertie.
Here are some pictures of the 1st litter puppies who have been adopted into new homes and some anecdotes or testimonials as we receive them.
This is Moses he is a very smart dog and loves the water! He is 6 months old today. Moses is probably around 100 pounds now.
And then there is Vader who stars in his owners commercials!
Vader full grown? What a beautiful dog.
