Lakeview Gentle Giants Puppy care and feeding recommendations: Are as follows; our number one choice in dog food is Plantation dog food. For puppies we use the 32–18 chicken and rice formula. For adults we use the magnum 24–20. We recommend feeding the puppy food until they reach four months old and then switching to the magnum 24–20. We believe lowering the protein helps slow down their growth and minimizes health problems in the future. Our second choice in dog food is Nutri-Source. Start with the large breed puppy food and then switch to the large breed adult at four months of age. DO NOT FEED YOUR DOG TABLE SCRAPS!!!

For prevention of hip dysplasia- Always avoid slippery floors, lots of climbing stairs, jumping off of high things and being overweight.
